For sellers

A shopfront that brings its own customers.

Most platforms rent you access to their customers. Saanjha helps you build a community of your own — and then makes sure it stays yours.

What you get

Six things a local shop cannot buy anywhere else.

A storefront that is yours

Your name, category, address and what you sell — a page your customers can find, share and come back to, rather than a row in somebody else’s search results.

A QR code that does the work

On the counter, on a flyer, on the society noticeboard. A customer scans it and joins your community, and the join is attributed to you.

Offers you fund and control

A welcome or referral incentive on your terms — the value, the qualifying amount, and when it stops. Because you fund it, nobody else can change it.

Announcements with real limits

Tell your customers about a trip, a cutoff or an offer — inside rate limits and quiet hours, so the channel stays worth their attention.

Customers who stay yours

A household you already serve is recorded as your customer. Repeat business is the reward for doing the job well, not something to be bought again.

Numbers you can act on

Real orders, real customers, real revenue for your store — the working surface, not a chart to screenshot.

The acquisition loop

How a walk-in becomes a regular.

Nothing in this loop depends on Saanjha spending money to buy you a customer, which is why it does not stop working when someone’s marketing budget does.

  1. 1

A customer walks into your store and sees your Saanjha QR code.

  2. 2

They scan it and join your store’s Saanjha community.

  3. 3

They get a welcome or referral offer that you set and fund.

  4. 4

They place future orders on Saanjha instead of walking past.

  5. 5

Your store gains a recurring digital customer.

  6. 6

That customer invites family and friends, and your community grows.

Customer ownership

The part that decides whether any of this is worth it.

In local services and local retail, the platform’s hardest problem is that once a customer has your number, the second job is cash. Most platforms respond by putting themselves between you and the customer permanently. Saanjha takes the opposite position.

  • A customer you already serve is recorded as yours. They are not re-sold to you as a fresh lead the next time they need what you sell.
  • Repeat business is not taxed as new business. The relationship, once established, is the relationship — not a series of acquisitions you keep paying for.
  • Leaving is allowed. A seller who stops using Saanjha keeps the customers they brought. A platform that has to trap you is telling you what it thinks of its own product.

Why this is not charity

A seller whose customers stay theirs has a reason to bring more of them on. That is the growth engine — and it only works if the promise is real.

Where it has a limit

Ownership is about attribution, not exclusivity. A household is free to buy from whoever they like, and a neighbour’s recommendation still counts for more than any badge.

Offers and referrals

Discounts that come out of the right pocket.

Platform-funded discounts train customers to wait for the next one, and they disappear the moment the funding does. Seller-funded offers behave differently, because the person paying is the person deciding.

  • You set the value and the conditions. For example, ₹100 off a first qualifying purchase of ₹500 or more — the exact figures are yours to choose and yours to change.
  • Attribution is tracked properly. You can see which offer brought which customer, so you know what a new customer actually cost you.
  • There is a cooldown on acquisition offers. The same household cannot keep collecting a welcome offer. A discount designed to win a customer should not become a discount they simply expect.

Announcements

Reach, with a limit that protects it.

Attention in a community of a few hundred households is finite. Saanjha rations it deliberately, and the restriction is what keeps the channel worth having.

Operational messages

A trip, a cutoff, a pickup, an interruption to an order. These are genuinely operational and can push a notification.

Promotional messages

Rate-limited, and feed-only unless a member has opted in to hear from you. Quiet hours run 22:00–07:00 IST.

If you overdo it

Mute and report rates are watched. Cross the threshold and promotional rights are suspended for a period — automatically, and appealably.

Getting started

Registration is quick. Verification is deliberate.

You register a storefront in the app and submit it for verification before it becomes visible to buyers. That gap is the point — a badge granted instantly would not be worth displaying.

  • Checks can include business information, owner information, mobile verification, location, documentation where applicable, and business photographs — sometimes with a physical visit.
  • “Verified” and “Trusted” are two different claims. Verification is granted by the check process. Standing with a community is earned over time and never issued automatically.

In the app

Buying and selling, on one profile.

There is no separate seller app to install and no desktop dashboard to learn. Switching between shopping for your household and running your shop is a toggle on the profile you already have.

  • A profile screen with a Buying and Selling toggle, and quick actions for my store, stock on hand, orders and shopping lists.

The same profile, switched to Selling: your store, stock on hand, orders and shopping lists.

  • The seller area of the profile screen, showing listings and store QR codes, a service inbox, add a service and verified provider status, plus community management tools.

Further down: listings and store QR codes, a service inbox, verified provider status — and, for community admins, join requests, pickup points and announcements.

Real screens from the Saanjha Android app. Some content varies by community, and what you see depends on which sellers and services are active where you live.
